Abstract
This is an excavation report for 1976-1980 at Rehman Dheri. It describes the environmental setting, other excavations in the Gomal Valley, and architectural finds. A ceramic typology is provided, with some drawings. The site is important as an example of an early planned city with an outer wall (perhaps defensive) and for its continuous occupation from Early through Mature Indus with persistent use of the Kot Dijian style. Site components RHD I and RHD II pertain to the Early Indus tradition. The document contains numerous spelling errors.
