Abstract
The authors describe finds from excavations on Mounds ET, E and AB, particularly finds that shed light on the stages of urban growth and stagnation at Harappa. Radiocarbon dates range from the Early Harappan/Harappan Transitional (Period 2) to the Harappan/Late Harappan Transitional (Period 4); only data pertaining to the Mature Indus are relevant to this collection. The many inscribed materials include seals, tablets (some made from the same mold were found in different parts of the site), and ceramic pots. Comparisons are made to similar scenes on tablets from Mohenjo-Daro and the Near East.
