harappa excavations, 1986-1990: a multidisciplinary approach to third millenium urbanism (3) • Published In 1991 • Pages: 13-27

By: Amundson, Ronald, Pendall, Elise.

Abstract
The authors took soil samples from within Harappa and its surrounding area to better understand the site’s environmental context. Some old beds of the Ravi River were discovered. Analyses of pedogenic carbonates provide only vague indications of the climate and flora of Harappa during its occupation.
