The quest for the origins of Vedic culture: the Indo-Aryan migration debate

Abstract
This document provides a critical analysis of the contentious issue of whether the Indo-Aryans migrated into or out of the Indian subcontinent. It presents works from many Indian scholars whose publications are not readily available in the West. All competing theories are discussed non-preferentially, for much of the available evidence is found to be malleable and can be used to argue either for or against an Aryan invasion.
