Abstract
The reader is advised that the English translation is a bit rough. Siṃha is an Indologist. He mainly uses what was written in the Rigveda to present evidence that the Aryans originated in India and spread their culture outwards. The Aryan invasion is viewed as a myth, with the Harappan legacy seen to continue into the Vedic Tradition. It is argued that the Rigveda is earlier than the accepted 1200 BC date, with astronomical calculations cited for a 4000 BC date. Because the Vedic Tradition is interpreted as a continuation of the Early through Mature Indus traditions, for the purposes of this collection the majority of the document is assumed to cover 5000-2000 BP (3000-1 BC), with evidence from the Early Indus through Vedic traditions taken as relevant.
