Abstract: This is a survey of some of the major features of the Classic period occupation at Chalcatzingo, Mexico. The architecture described consists of two small pyramid mounds facing a plaza, associated wall and platform construction, and a ball court to the north of the plaza. Excavations at the site also turned up several Classic period lime kilns, and three burials. Material on the Postclassic period which was included in this document has not been indexed with OCM (Outline of Cultural Materials) codes since the time frame involved is outside the provenance of the Classic period.
