Copeland describes the known Natufian sites in Lebanon. This was written when the Civil War in Lebanon was still going on and so no new archaeology had been done for years. The sites describe include Jebel Saaide or Saaide II, Nachcharini Cave, Ain Chaub, Jiita III, Jiita II east, Borj Barajne, Antelias Cave, and Amiq II. She points out that these sites seem to be a northward extension of the Natufian tradition and traits found in the core area around Carmel-Galilee.
