Middle Paleolithic Egypt
The tradition known as Middle Paleolithic Egypt is found in the Nile Valley and to the west of the Nile Valley, near what were then water sources, in northern Sudan and Egypt from 230,000 BP to 45,000 BP. The humans of the Middle Paleolithic Egypt are considered to be Homo sapiens that share traits with archaic Homo sapiens and with Neanderthals. No human remains have yet been found in Egypt. They were nomadic or semi-nomadic hunters and/or scavengers and gatherers.
