Abstract
Killick gives a brief overview of the excavations and findings from the site of Tell Mohammed Arab in northern Iraq, north of Mosul. Although the Late Uruk pottery from the site has some affinity with ceramics from southern Mesopotamia, the ceramics from the next period - the period that would equate with Jemdet Nasr - do not. There are seals and sealings that are similar to ones from the south, however, and these appear to be Jemdet Nast to Early Dynastic in date.
