By: Algaze, Guillermo, 1954.

Abstract
Algaze describes the Late Chalcolithic findings from the site of Kurban Hoyuk, especially the ceramics. He sees Mesopotamian influence extending into Turkey during the Late Uruk period. This influence breaks down during the '…final phase of the Uruk period, traditionally referred to as the Gamdat Nasr or Protoliterate C-D period, is not represented outside of alluvial Mesopotamia proper.' (page 290). The also discussants give the various sizes of the Riemchen bricks from their sites.
