Abstract
McMichael proposes '…that the climax of Ohio Valley Hopewell was stimulated by Mexican influences and that the mechanism for this influence was the Crystal River Complex of the Floridian Gulf Coast.' (page 125). Only the data pertaining to the Hopewell (not Vera Cruz or Crystal River) were indexed for OCM (Outline of Cultural Materials) subjects.
