By: Kellar, James H..

Abstract
Kellar's field work at the Mann site and others previous work at the site are discussed. The site has similarities with Hopewell in both Ohio (geometric earthworks) and Illinois (burial practices). One unusual find is the relatively large amount of obsidian (10 flakes). The 16 earthworks are described along with the habitation area. Ceramics, stone tools, and other artifacts are discussed. Kellar also describes the other archaeological sites known in the area.
