Abstract
Butler discusses the Yearwood site and the excavations there. Described are several structures, burials (which contain only a few exotic artifacts), and the ceramic and lithic technologies. This site may contain some of the earliest evidence for Hopewell contacts in the area and Butler states 'Yearwood represents an early horizon for the [Hopewell interaction sphere].' (page 156.)
