Abstract
The discussants and the authors discuss the papers from the Ohio area and how to identify Hopewell mounds from Adena ones. Also discussed were the shape of earthworks, faunal resources, agriculture, and the acquisition of the Hopeton works as part of Mound City Group National Monument. Also discussed is a paper by James Marshall on the geometric regularity in Ohio Hopewell earthworks which was published elsewhere.
