Abstract
King analyzes the materials and techniques employed in creating the cordage, netting, and basketry recovered from Guilá Naquitz Cave. Knotted cordage is interpreted as having been used for transporting gathered foodstuffs to the cave. Only artifacts from stratigraphic zones C and B pertain to the Early Archaic.
