By: Reynolds, Robert G. (Robert Gene).

Abstract
Reynolds utilizes Q- and R- mode analyses of artifact distributions across living floors at Guilá Naquitz Cave, refining the results of the approaches in Documents 39 and 40 to suggest a layout of activity areas around connecting pathways and hearths. Supposed mens and womens work areas according to probable division of labor are emphasized, along with changes in those relations through time. Only the data, maps and summaries for stratigraphic zones C and B pertain to the Early Archaic. (Extensive discussions of statistical procedures and presentation of numerical data are indexed for ORGANIZATION AND ANALYSIS OF RESULTS OF RESEARCH [128].)
