'The pollen study for the Picacho Reservoir Archaic Project involved 73 archaeological pollen samples from eight sites. ... Samples from these sites provided area coverage across environmental zones. ... The major objective of the pollen research was a regional environmental reconstruction for the Archaic period in the Picacho Reservoir area. ... Another specific objective was an interpretation of site seasonality and evidence for economic use of plants.' (page 279).
