Abstract
'This paper is concerned with defining the site structure of La Cuidad, its history and development. For the purposes of this paper, the examination of site structure will be limited to a single locus...The Moreland locus was chosen since it is relatively discrete both spatially and temporally, and exhibits only a small amout of stratigraphic complexity...The methods used to segregate features along the temporal dimension are described and used to reconstruct the growth of the locus. The implications of the growth and structure of the locus for Hohokam communities are explored.' (page 97 and 99). Henderson used statistical anlyses to temporally segregate the various features - houses, trash pits, hornos - of the Moreland locus and is able to reconstruct when specific houses and households were in existence providing maps of the growth of this area of La Cuidad.
