Abstract
Gregory describes and discusses settlement patterns in the Roosevelt Community Development Study area which is separated from the next local system at Armer Ranch by 3 kilometers. Gregory discusses what kind of settlements are represented, their make up, how they changed over time, what factors influenced settlement location and distribution, how the settlement types were arrayed over the landscape, and what kinds of relationships existed between the settlements.
