Abstract
Steven LeBlanc analyzed the Galaz projectile points along with others from Mimbres Foundation excavations. He found no type could be shown to be temporally diagnostic and there was as much variability between projectile points types of the Late Pithouse and Classic Mimbres periods as between other periods. He determined that changes in projectile point types reflects changes in subsistence strategies or general efficiency.
