Abstract
As the results of three seasons of field work at Tula, the authors have evolved a slight variation in their field methodology which they believed would be better suited for the excavation of the complex architectural remains found at the site. This methodology, based on trail-and-error modification of methods and techniques employed in the initial field season of 1970, is described in detail in this report.
