Abstract
In this article Mandeville and Healan discuss in detail the architectural remains found at the El Corral Locality site at Tula, and comparisons made to comparable data from the excavations at the Canal Locality site in the general area. The authors describe the structures found at El Corral including information on construction materals used, natural and cultural stratigraphy, human skeletal remains at the site, and the possibility that cannibalism may have occurred, although the evidence is inconclusive. A summary discussion of the data relevant to El Corral is presented at the end of the document.
