Abstract
Burger ran X-ray flourescence analysis on obsidian flakes from Pachamachay. One obsidian flake came from preceramic level 23. The results of the analysis were that the source of the obsidian is unknown and it is 'postulated to be the product of a nearby volcanic formation that failed to produce a widely utilized obsidian.'
