Abstract
This is the chapter on the Eastern Balkans from the Atlas of the European Neolithic. Cultures included are Krivodol in western Bulgaria (6500-6000 BP), Kodžadermen-Karanovo VI in northeastern Bulgaria (6500-600 BP), Varna on the Black Sea (6500-6000 BP), Galatin in northeastern Bulgaria (6000-5500 BP), and Pevec in northeastern Bulgaria (6000-5500 BP).
