Abstract
Olszewski analyzes the chipped stone artifacts from Abu Hureyra 1. She finds the inhabitants of this site produced tools from both blades and flakes with little change over time, indicating little change in the hunting and gathering activities at the site. Olszewski also compares Abu Hureyra 1 with Mureybit Ia. The sites are close to each other, but in two different ecological zones.
