Abstract
Midant-Reynes, as part of the French Institute of Archaeology, conducted a surface sampling of material and then excavated at Adaima, near Esna in Upper Egypt. A brief description of their findings is presented, Adaima includes a cemetery and a settlement that shifted from the desert to the valley over time. Photographs of some of the artifacts, burials, and excavated areas of the settlement are provided.
