'About 300 Egyptian vessels from a large number of sites ... were analyzed by petrographic and chemical methods.' (page 433). 'The sites in which locally made Egyptian pottery were identified are located in the southern Shephela, west of the Judean Mountains, and in between the Yarkon and Habesor (Gaza) rivers.' (page 435).
