In this work Gladwin discusses the evolution of culture at Snaketown over a period of fourteen hundred years, from the Vahki Phase of the Pioneer Period to the Civano Phase, of the Classic.All Phase/Periods are discussed from the standpoint of their most important features, with brief summaries of each cultural period's outstanding diagnostic traits.
