Abstract
Shackley reports on the x-ray fluorescence analysis of the obsidian. The x-ray fluorescence was done to determine the source of the obsidian found at Marana. Sixty-eight of the seventy pieces subjected to x-ray fluorescence were from the same source near Gila Bend. All the obsidian from this source could have been collected in only a single trip there.
