Abstract
Crown et al. summarize the settlement patterns for the northern Rio Grande in northern New Mexico starting around AD 1100. Prior to that time the area had a very low population density. Aggregation occurred rapidly between AD 1250-1300, with some of the aggregation suggestive of movement of whole aggregated communities.
