Abstract
Dolukhanov and Khotinskiĭ provide an overview of where settlements have been found and some of the animals that were hunted in the different vegetation zones (tundra, forest, and steppe). Despite serious limitations in the available evidence, it is concluded that Mesolithic people occupied the entire study area.
