Abstract
This document examines changes in the crop and weed species to better understand socioeconomic development during the Neolithic in the Yiluo valley. The authors conducted field surveys, collecting soil samples at the various sites for floatation. Plant remains were identified to family when possible. Accelerator mass spectrometer radiocarbon dates were obtained for ten samples of crop remains.
