Abstract
This document covers archaeological investigations since the 1920s regarding the Qijia subtradition. Most excavations, including the author’s, were in cemeteries rather than focusing on dwellings or broader settlements. Nevertheless, burials provide valuable data on class, gender inequality, religious beliefs, family structure, and the economy.
