Abstract
Harding and Coles present an overview of the late Bronze Age in Eastern Europe. They discuss the changes from the previous period, what may be found in this one, and how the Iron Age starts at different times in different areas. They describe the artifacts, the remains of the few houses found, the types of settlements and the types of fortresses, and funerary rites. Artifacts described include tools, weapons, pottery and vessel shapes, ornaments, and vehicles, both real and figurines. The kinds of decoration found on artifacts are depicted. Diet is briefly outlined. A discussion of the absolute and relative chronology for this time period is included.
