AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
Ninety-six pieces of worked bone were discovered from the levels of Abu Hureyra 1. The bone artifacts change little through time except for the disappearance of bone bipoints at the end of Abu Hureyra 1, which is similar to the findings from other sites in the Levant. Olsen describes how the bone artifacts were analyzed, how the tools were manufactured, what types of animals were used, and what types of tools were found.
