The pre-pottery Neolithic populations of south Sinai and their relations to other circum-Mediterranean groups: an anthropological study

Abstract
Three sites in the southern Sinai were excavated that contained human remains. The remains were found within the living areas of the sites. These sites had similar burial practices (although they were hunter gatherers) to those found in the Levant, such as adult skull removal. Teeth and the bones were examined for information on health, diet, and possible biological affinity.
