Abstract
Molleson examined the bones from Abu Hureyra. Molleson was able to determine the people of Abu Hureyra's physical appearence, how children were weaned, diet (it was very hard and coarse - people were eating cereals and dried gazelle meat), that they engaged in strenuous activities (carrying heavy loads, women especially from adolescence on were grinding grain daily as determined by excessive stresses on the various bones of the skeleton), postures, injuries, illnesses, general health, demographics, and a little about social organization.
