Abstract
Merpert and Munchaev discuss burial practices, mostly as they pertain to the Halaf period at Yarim Tepe I and II. During their excavations they found a cemetery area and burials within the settlement. Burial practices range from inhumations, skull burials, cremations, to burials under houses within the settlement. They also describe the ceramic and stone artifacts found with the burials, most of which were vessels.
