Abstract
In a previous work in this collection (Jasim, 1985, no. 6)the author discussed in detail the stratigraphy and material objects obtained from the Tell Abada site. In this study he discusses the function of the various buildings excavated and casts light on particular features associated with specific structures or on structures which were meant to serve a special function (p. 79). While some of these buildings served as dwellings, others had an administrative or religious function, while still others had a multi-purpose function as sheepfold, barn, store , and grain storage. In addition to the above the author describes the water pipes and pottery kilns found at the site.
