Abstract
Broster and Norton worked with private collectors throughout Tennessee to collect data on projectile points and uniface tools. Their main goals were to obtain locations of these artifacts and to ground check the locations. They found 47 Paleoindian sites and 77 localities. Several sites are briefly described. They found many of the isolated finds were in fact substantial Paleoindian sites and that dense fluted points sites may be fairly common. They also stress cooperation between the professional and amateur archaeologist be pursued to further knowledge of the Paleoindian period.
