Abstract
Morse and Morse describe the discovery of the Sloan site, its excavation, and the collection of artifacts and soil samples. There were numerous difficulties in excavating the site including severe weather, lack of funding, and trying to excavate while disguising the nature of the excavations from known artifact collectors. Due to these difficulties the soils weren't screened and the excavations were done in a rather hurried manner. A map and aerial photo of the site are included.
