By: Saucier, Roger T..

Abstract
Saucier describes 'certain key events of the region's Late Quaternary history, such as the cessation of glacial outwash deposition … and wind deflation and sand dune formation that had direct influences on where and how the early inhabitants of the Western Lowlands adapted to and utilized the landscape.' (page 96). Saucier also points out that most of the artifacts were not disturbed since their burial, indicating they would have been buried deeper than one-half meter.
