Late Tundra tradition is found in Alaska, Yukon Territories, and Siberia between 8000 and 6000 BP. The tradition is primarily a blade and microblade industry associated with hunting of migratory animals in the interior and fishing and hunting of marine mammals in coastal areas. Most archaeological sites are lookout stations. One site suggests the possibility of village organization.
