Abstract
Dumond describes Brooks River Falls phase and distinguished it from the artifacts of the previous Smelt Creek and Brooks River Weir phases and the succeeding Brooks River Camp phase. Only one site in the Naknek region was found to have this phase, the Brooks River site located above the falls, although, there are similarities between the artifacts found at Brooks River and the Beach phase at Kukak Bay 100 km. away. A major occupation of the people staying at Brooks River was fishing, No permanent dwellings have been found.
