AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
Amick and Carr review the literature and theories concerning lithic technologies during the Archaic in the greater Southeast United States. They find that during the Middle Archaic there was increased use of local raw materials, tools were more expediantly made, and settlement organization should be characterized as logistical with increased residential mobility.
