Abstract
Goad analyzes the mortuary remains from Robinson and Alexander mounds. She concludes the data suggests that the social organization was egalitarian and that burial treatment was based on age and probably gender. 'Adult burials, in particular adult males, evidence more sophisticated burial treatment and contain more artifacts… than subadult burials.' (page 83).
