Hohokam, desert farmers & craftsmen : excavations at Snaketown, 1964-1965, by Emil W. HauryTucson • Published In 1976 • Pages: 374-377

By: McKusick, Charmion Randolph.

Abstract
McKusick studied the avifauna from Snaketown. While many of the birds were probably eaten many of the bones are from the wing or pectoral girdle which may mean the feathers were even more valued. Only wild birds were identified.
