Abstract
This document discusses Locus D at the Eagle Ridge site, a relatively diffuse surface scatter of two Western Apache pots, chipped stone artifacts, fire cracked rock, and ground stone tools. Some of these artifacts were prehistoric. The remainder of the document discusses the history of the Western Apache and the Yavapai in the Tonto basin and what has been found archaeologically for the protohistoric time period. Only the material that pertains to the Hohokam were indexed for OCM (Outline of Cultural Materials) codes.
