Abstract
This is a brief description of the various mineral and metals occurring in the natural environment in southern Arizona and the manner in which they are used by the Hohokam people during several cultural phases. The mineral described in the text include mica, quartz, turquoise, obsidian, hematite and malachite; the metals: copper, and lead.
