Abstract
Wetherington describes the excavations and presents his findings from the excavations at Pot Creek Pueblo in the northern Rio Grande region of northern New Mexico. The pueblo was first occupied before Anasazi from the west migrated to the northern Rio Grande region and it either continued to be occupied or was reoccupied while this occurred. Pot Creek Pueblo was also near the eastern frontier of the Anasazi world and had contact with people from the Plains. Wetherington describes the architecture, the ceramics, and the other artifacts such as clay pipes, bone tools, stone tools and projectile points, and monos and metates. Pot Creek Pueblo is compared to other settlements in the northern Rio Grande region and throughout the Four Corners region.
